Suspension Squeek Solved (126)- Thanks

Our '90 300 SEL developed a loud squeek from the RF suspension. Diagnosis was not easy, and I have a lift. After consulting this forum and searching various threads, it became obvious that the lower ball joint needed replacement. It looked fine, but the squeek resonated through the other components and made it tough to pinpoint.

I got a ball joint from Fastlane and used the information already posted to guide me through the disassembly. RF knuckle was removed and taken to Firestone (closest place) to have old joint pressed out and new one installed. Got everything put together - and problem solved! Total investment: about 4 hours and $70.

Just wanted to inform others of this project so you'd have a guestimate of time and money to decide if you want to replace ball joints on your own. Thanks to this forum for the help.
