Transmission slip 85kmi 1995 E320

Thank you for looking - any knowledgeable feedback would be appreciated.
The car is a 95 e320 w/ 85kmi and about 10kmi on the trans fluid and filter.

Possibly relevant info: - the car was driven slightly hard today while testing the upshift delay with the switch bypassed 3hrs before problem occured.

Problem: While sitting at a stoplight with the car warm, in Drive, on a warm day I heard/felt what I could only describe as a faint "grumble" over the sound of the radio. When I went to accelerate the transmissoin seemed to slip terribly or feel as if it were not entirely engaged - though there was some forward motion. I pulled to the curb and checked the fluid - fine. I Then got back in and accelerated normally. I drove another 4 miles through the day with plenty of stops with no evidence of disfunction.

If this is anything that can be immediately taken care of (in a manner other than rebuilding the transmission) I would really appreciate the input. In viewing the older postings I see references to the "b2" pack etc. Are these things that can be replaced with the transmission in the car or out of the car without tearing down the whole trans? Any sources of info would also be appreciated.

Thank you very much

Prob just got some dirt in the B2 piston..
I would do the tranny oil/filter again, just cuz they never seem to clean up real good with the first one , specially if the converter was not drained

I always do the fluid a secomd time a couple thousand miles later , but leave the filter.
Pan and converter... cheap insurance and the second flush always shows some doscolored fluid..
