M103 EHA Trouble
Hi All,
Our 124 Wagon is one of those rare birds built on a Monday... Anyway, Less trhan 10k mi ago the EHA was leaking pretty bad. We replaced it ($$$). We have been having hard start issues (warm start) for the last 18mo or so and the EHA is leaking again. I really don't like the idea of going though EHAs every 10k mi! Any thoughts out there? Any chance we could get away w/ just replacing the seal? Would that help the warm starts? What to replace it with (any brand better)? What causes it? Just a quirk of the otherwise very lovely M103 (like the head gaskets)? I've worked on MBs my whole life and have been very used to replacing a part only once in the cars life. Thanks! -Matt-
