Evap replacement W124 how much PAG?
I'm ready to buttton up my evap install. I have the new receiver dryer. Plan is to connect new evaporator, connect vac pump, quick install receiver dryer and fire up the pump.
Now the big question is: how much PAG46 do I put in the system? I've read suggestions of 4 oz. Is this fact? And where to put it? In the receiver/ dryer, dump some into evaporator, or where?. Does this plan sound okay? Bob

IF the evap has been leaking for a long time then 4oz would be OK, however 2.5-3oz would be the normal amount of Pag ISO 46 oil to add durning evap & drier replacement!
Adding the oil to the system durning recharge OR anytime will do!! Just get it into the system!
