W126 tierods... load 'em with grease?
I'm planning to toss on new rods on the SDL today (Wed) or tomorrow and have a few quick questions regarding them...
It appears the end links can be potentially filled with chassis grease but I can't confirm this. If this is so, how do I go about this as there are no Zerks on there. Anything else I should be aware of before getting into this aside from getting an alignment done ASAP? Thanks |
They should already be lubed and sealed for life...the life of the tie rod that is.

Ah well, that answers that. :)

Got them installed today in around 90min, not nearly as hard as I thought. Need an alignment but alas, I can drive the SDL! :D Did discover that I do need to adjust the throttle linkage more and my fan clutch is bad tho' :(
