turbo question
I have a convertible saab and i have lost the turbo...
i am rebuilding it and i find cracks in the exhaust housing. can it be welded....??? i was told they could magna flux a head and weld the inside of it...and i figure if they can do that then they must be able to do this.? |

in the
manifold or the turbo itself? if turbo i would think no. if manifold i would think yes in many cases. after welding it will need planing too.

this is a generic answer based on benz experience. there could be saab specific issues with the manifold. i suppose.
