Seat back removal - 1995 E320
Okay, I've searched the archives and discovered that after removing screws at the bottom of the seat back (driver & passenger) that I should be able to slide the panel down to get access to the headrest, motors, etc. In my case, a dual purpose of fixing headrest motor or pinion or something like that and also to get a seat cover on and fitted.
However, I have wailed and knashed teeth to no avail...I have pried, pushed, sprayed Armorall in the side grooves and had little success. It does appear to have moved ever so slightly but at this rate I will be spending the rest of a lovely Sunday on getting just the driver side seat done. HELP???!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance as always! Mike Adding to my issue: Now it appears that another motor or something got screwed up as the left side of my seat is not moving but the right side is so I'm sitting lopsided in my seat...someone, anyone, PLEASE help!!
