Question How to replace light bulbs

I've got a 93 300SD (W140) and wondering
1. if you need to remove the driver's door panel to replace the light bulb that illuminates the seat adjustment mechanism. If so, how do you do it?
2. How do you replace the light bulbs in the climate control control box on the console? Do you need to take the whole thing apart,or can you do it from the outside? If you need to take the whole thing apart, do you need to take the electronic board apart as well?
3. How does the covering in the footwell come off? I see two screws that seem to hold it up, but it still sticks when those are removed and I'm not into forcing things.
Thanks, ARW
