Am trying to remove the flange nut from a 722.xxx tranny. It's in a 82 300SD.

Looks like it needs a deep socket with four tabs on the end. Can I make one? Where can I buy one?

Thanks,

JV

Followup

Ending up making one out of a 1 1/8 deep socket. Found one to buy but they wanted $50 plus shipping.
