How is air bled from cooling system M119?
Is the best way to bleed the air from the cooling system on an M119 (E-class 124) to fill through the upper radiator hose as it's disconnected at the radiator or ????
I completely drained the radiator, and both engine drains when I had the evaporator/ heater core out, but the system only took about 10 quarts total to refill. Shouldn't it have been closer to 16? Seems to run hotter than before. Thanks for any help.

after running
for a while long enough for the thermostat to open you should be able to top it off. and keep an eye on it for a few days to be sure the bubbles have worked themselves out.
