Help with my 280s!!
I have been fixing up a really nice 1969 280s and I am stuck on something that is driving me crazy. The front door window switches (very rare) had bad springs and all windows went up and down erratically. I have replaced the four switch set ($190.00) and have 3 windows working seamlessly however the rear drivers side window still will not operate. It would move perfectly before I removed the switch set and I have checked that all connections are correct and tight. FYI I have permanently disconnected the lockout switch since it is not needed. Where are the fuses? Is there a separate fuse for each window? Could it be a relay? What could be the problem?
Thanks in advance, David |

seems like
a long shot but it might relate to the lockout.
