i posted a silly thread last week about not being able to get the seats out of my 82 240. the mystery was solved by me moving the seat forward. my bigger old fart brother couldnt get the seat far enough forward to expose the bolts. then after switching the seats we discovered that the latches on the seat belts are different. after the seat was installed making it impossible to change the inside end. one bolt. so we had to switch the outside end. three bolts and removing the belt cover.
a slightly useful fact.
