testing brake booster

brake booster not working properly will not hold vacuum with hand pump am i testing it right

Don't know, How are you testing? Should be isolating booster by attaching vacuum test pump to single hose leading to booster pump. What are you results?

re brake booster test

I have isolated the booster testing with hand pump it wont build any vacuum
do's it matter if the peddle is up or down
