Glass, Aluminum, & Copper Fuses

If you have an old MB, its probably a good idea to replace your fuses with something newer.

Glass type (This is what kind of fuses I use. Works best for me.)



Copper type:



Aluminum:

Can't tell from photo, but are you using the glass enclosed fuses with bullet ends?

the glass fuses are excellent, they do not corrode. but i have not been able to find them recently. i have a supply that i found at an electronics surplus store, but i don't have a source for new ones.

where did you find the glass ones?

I get them through a distributor.

Any marine store will have those glass fuses; they are pretty much standard in the marine industry.

The glass fuses can be found at Walmart, where I get them for my boat.
