96 C280 Low Side 134a Valve leak

Hi,

The service valve on the 134a low side line is slowly leaking at the core. Is the valve core replaceable or is it special and will the entire low side line need to be replaced to resolve this issue?

Thanks

Ok

Just for clarification

I just looked into the valve with a mirror and I cannot see how the valve core is replaced with a standard schrader core tool.

Do I understand correctly now that the entire metal service valve unit that screws onto the low side line is what needs to be replaced after the system is evacuated and that this service valve unit is readily available.

Thanks
