72 280SE Torque Specs

my techs are in need of torque specs on a 1072 280SE 4.5L
They are requesting the following info please:

Torque Specs
Main Cap Bolts
Rods
Heads-
-sequence
Intake Manifold
Flex Plate
Torque Converter
Cam Caps
Oil Pan Bolts


any and all info will be greatly appreciated!! We have shopkey through snapon & it doesn't go back to 1972!1974 is the latest year available.

that would be the same as any 450SL OR 450SEL from 1972-80.

so the torque specs are the same for the motors no matter the year?

Just use the 74 specs. Like M.B. DOC. says it is basically the same engine til 1980. The changes that ocurred through the years was the addition of catalytic converters in 75 and the switch from EFI to CIS in 76. Also fuel trim control was introduced in 1980 in the form of a frequency valve.

The torque specs are the same on all of the 1971-80 M117 motors & that is what you have!
