Thanks Steve for the reply.My DOHC V8 drivers side front cylinder is the farthest one forward. I'll hold your answer up to a mirror. I just did a head gasket job and only had five parts left over!Not bad all things considered. I'm not really concerned about the three bolts(how important could they have been?-better hp/lb ratio).However,I vaguely remember removing three circlips(e-clips) from the bowden cable and I still have two left over.I wonder where they go?

The only E clips go at the pivot points on the bell cranks of the throttle linkage.
