Valve adj on a 59 220s

I need to know the valve adj specs for 1959 220s eng. no. 180 924 10
I also need to know if you check for the adjustment between the cam and rocker or the top of the valve and rocker.

between the cam and rocker

my old chiltons just covers fintails but i suspect they would be the same. the 190c is .03 intake and .07 exh. the 220 and 230 are .03 and .06. these are cold dimensions. measure on the circular part of the cam not the lobe.
in the absence of firm info i would use 3 and 6.

good luck
