85 190e 5 speed transmission

Long story short. Driving 75mph heard a big bang under the car, shift rods,GONE. flex disk,GONE. Today I was looking under the car after buying a new flex disk, I noticed a crack in the trans where the mount sits. The gears seem to be fine as well as the shaft can [JB weld] be used to seal the trans? If so that will make my day if not is there any thing I can do without replaceing the whole trans? Any info whould be helpful, maybe something else you know could help.
