When I insert the ignition key and turn to start the car, "nothing" happens, yet all the other switches work,ie: seats, windows...I can get the car started by bumping it, but when I turn it off, it doesn't start...
Any advice? Rick...

You can get the car started by bumping what? The starter motor? Or the car?> Or the dash?
If it is the starter that you bump to start, replace the starter and all will be solved. Try neutral if it is an auto.
