r129 headlamp wiper removal
Looking to clean up the lines of my 2001 SL500, by removing headlamp washer, wiper assy, and replacing trim or plugging holes left vacant by the wiper stubs.
I am pretty adept, and carefull! For the life of me, I could not figure a way to remove the headlamp assy, so as to be able to remove the washer pumps and wiper motors. Somebody care to elaborate? thanks!

I did a pretty detailed write up of that exact job a while back. Should be able to find it in a search. Here it is,,,Got rid of my wipers today
