1983 380SEC Timing chain

Hello:
I have a 1983 380SEC with a broken timing chain (single row curse). I removed the engine and the transmission from the car.

Since I have easy access to the engine, I am thinking about converting it to a double row chain. And here comes the question:
What everything do I need to replace for this conversion? I know about the crankshaft gear and both the camshaft gears and the chain, but is anything else required to be replaced?

Does anyone have experience with broken timing chains on these engines (had my fair share of timing belt incident cars but never a Benz)? How many bent valves can I count on? Aything else that may got damaged?

Thanks for any answers and best wishes,

Greg
