brake light on in instrumen pael after repairs.

Hi guys! Need your help: Sequense of events:. 1977 450SL, passenger side brake in front pulled to right, brake light went on. Pulled drivers side wheel, caliper on wheel leaking slightly. Replaced with rebuilt calipers,(both sides) refaced front discs, new rubber brake lines, new front sensors. pads OK, Everything OK, firm brake,. 2 days later brake light back on instrument panel. Brakes feel firm.. master cylinder possible overfilled? sensor lines? Car brakes fine. your assistance appreciated. Abe G

If the bottle on the master cylinder has enough oil then i guess it might be a nonworking buoy (the buoy is to indecate the oil low level). I called it a buoy because I don't know it's name : )).. Good Luck.

Pad sensor wire grounding.....
Emergency Brake not all the way Off.....

there is usually a pressure sensor on the front of the master cylinder that has a single wire going to it, if it detects un equal pressure it will trigger, turning on the light, you must press the rubber part in to reset it after repairs, this should turn the light off if youy model has this feature.
