I have a 1993 190E 2.3 that is extremely sensitive
to the position of the driver's seat. I believe that the suspension is tuned to perform optimally with a specific seat height. I'm not kidding! The driver's perception of ride comfort and handling stability of the car changes dramatically just by raising or lowering the seat. Higher is good - Nearly E-class good. Low is bad - '84 Corvette bad. Has anyone else noticed this phemomenon? p.s. - I put Michelin Pilot XGT's on in November. 205/60HR/15. These are the perfect tires for this car! |
