possible to d/c cruise control??
hello. my 1984 300sd has been acting out lately! it seems as if the accelerator is sticking but last night it actually started to accelerate like it was attempting to get to the set speed on the cruise control (which i don't use). hitting the brake works to unstick the gas pedal so i think it is the cc module. first off, where is it? and second how can one disable it?
thank you, gregg

CC amp is under the knee panel, right up by where the brake pedal "hinges". Aluminum box, 14 pins, larger of the two boxes you'll see. I'd just disconnect the actuator connection in the engine bay for now; safety issue.
