Today I just put my tranny back together on my 1985 500sel, Now i believe it could be a bad b2 piston for sure. Now to my question where is the b2 piston located on the tranny and do I have to pull out the whole tranny or can i operate while it is still on the car. I have pull the valve housing out and the valves are working fine, the car still will not move until the rpms are at 2800
Thanks hollow |

Reverse works fine, I have the good idea it is the b2 piston. Now the link on this tread is very helpful but when looking for the b2 piston, but is it on the the driver side or passenger side??????

I have got what i think is the b2 piston out and it doesn't seem broken, it came out in one piece, could something be wrong inside the piston?????
