vacuum lines

Hello I just bought a mercedes 300d turbo 1985 model.I was working on the vacuum lines when I noticed two of them was unhooked under the dash.I can not find where thay went. Both lines run thru the fire wall in the same hole as the lines going to the switch and door the lines that are unhooked are black one of the lines comes off of the transmission valve on the back of the injector pump runs thru the fire wall then stops.The other line Ts off the main vacuum line under the hood then runs thru a filter it looks just like a in line gas filter then it goes thru the fire wall and it stops.I can not figure out where these lines go can any body help....Thanks...ssbkc
