SRS-light - the saga continues...

Some of you might remember that I had some "problems" with the SRS-light after installing my SRS-system (airbag+belts). The light would come on at pos I and stay on until I started the car, regardless of how long I waited. When I switched off the car, it would also come back on if I left the key in pos I/II.

However, according to all sources, it should come on at pos I, stay on for approximately four seconds, and then go out. After this it should not come back on until key has been returned to pos 0 (ie not come on if key is left in pos I/II like it did on mine).

I've been trying to figure out why I've had this error without any luck, so today I started fiddling with the wiring. Now, one wire plugs straight into the fusebox, and one is connected to position 15R in front of the fusebox - I was told to do this from a German 201-enthusiast who recently did this upgrade (albeit only the airbag, as his car was already equipped with seatbelt-restraints). Now, when I disconnect the wire from 15R, no light appears (in no position). When I disconnect the wire plugged into the fusebox, however, the light comes on at pos I, and stays on for about four seconds, regardless of whether the car is started or not. In short; Everything seems to be as it should with only one wire connected, so why is there a second one? Is it not supposed to go in there??

Any input is appreciated, this confuses me...
