87 190e 16V release bearing question
I am doing my clutch right now and I am almost done now. I am using a hanes manual and it says to put the release bearing in and turn it 90 degrees to lock it in place. I believe the transmission they are working with is the 2.3 5spd tanny. Is it possible to even lock it in place on the 16V? I have tried to turn it and it doesnt seem to turn. When I took the old release bearing out, it just slid out. Any input would be a huge help. Thanks alot!
