Towing w/99' E320 4matic?

Hi all. We have a 99' E320 4matic and I was wondering if it is a good idea to put a hitch on the car in order to tow sailplane trailers(approx 2,000 lbs) is this is a good car for towing? what kind of hitch and where would be the best place to get it? . I understand there will be some increased wear I just want to avoid overt abuse of the car.
