a friend of mine owns a 96 c280, with the sport package. He's looking to midy his airfox by changing it to an open airfilter type. What would be the best place to go to???

I would appreciate any imput on this!

If you insist on doing this, do it with the crankcase ventilation in mind. If you expose your crankcase ventilation to atomospheric pressure rather than drawing a slight vacuum, you will not draw the harmful(to your engine) vapors from the crankcase.
