Is it possible to remove/replace the TOP RUBBER MOUNTS on the strut assbly on a 1992 500SL, the mounts look cracked with a gap and front end noisy when on uneven payment.\
May need to replace struts at the same time but they are not leaking at this time.

with that particular car but i think you should generally be able to change the rubber at the top wo changing the strut.
