all my gauges wont light up, cant see how fast im going

yea sounds weird but the light where my speedometer, gas level, water level, etc. doesnt light up. how can i fix this ? i cant see how fast im going at night and dont wanna get a ticket for speeding. so is there a bulb that needs replacing and if so how do i get to it ? maybe a fuse thats blown ? i dont even know where the fuses are located on my car. i havent had it too long so im learning. someone please shed some light please. thanks.

Well this depends on the model, but the fusebox in located on the top right-hand corner in the engine bay (long, black box.) Open up the cover and the designated fuse names should be listed on the other side of the cover. Another possibility is your dimmer switch (black knob, similar to the clock one) located in the front of your instrument cluster, you probably moved it or something-that controls the lighting in the cluster, rotate the knob to the right to get more lighting.(speedometer, clock, gas, oil, etc.) Hope this helps..

Agreed. The illumination knob is probably the issue.
