Front Cross member rubber lift pad

Our 2002 E wagon has a thick rubber pad for the jack saddle when lifting up the front end of the car. I am referring to the cross member directly to the rear of the oil pan, centerline of car.

i've noticed the 1999 E300D does not have this pad installed or it's missing. Can it be added? It seems like a good idea to have it.

Thanks.

My 1999 E430 has the pad. It is held in place by a big plastic rivet in the middle of the pad. Look for a hole in the crossmember to accept the rivet.

I've been to the dealer today and he thinks he located the correct piece. We'll find out tomorrow AM.

New, revised oil filler cap (000 010 02 85, $6):

Hopefull this oil fill cap doesn't take a wrench to twist it off like the previous one.
