2000 E320 7 Codes ?

Codes 170-173-301-302-303-306-300
Occasional Symptoms - Hesitation Not Often, Slight Miss On Freeway?. Jittering Or Fast Pulsing From Transmission On Deceleration, Exceleration Ok , Has 80k Miles Serviced At 60k No Leaks. Most Of The Time No Symptoms At All. Car Has Only Had Normal Servicing.
I Removed The Codes And Drove The Car 25+ Miles With No Symptoms
Ck. Engine Light Did Not Come Back On ?

Most likely a "bad" Mass Air Sensor. Can lean out the mixture & cause misfires.

OF course a fuel pressure problem can cause the same results..fuel pressure is controlled by the FUEL FILTER!

thank doc
i was starting to lean that way because i didnt feel a specific miss at idle.
it has hesatated but it is infrequent. also , i had several responses about the jittering or shuttering on deceleration from the transmission saying it probably the one way roller, but this symptom is not consistant.whats do you think ?

You'll have to read the adaptation values to get a better picture of what's going on. Check the fuel trim and I'm willing to bet it's on the high side or at 1.32. AMM failure is often seen through early symptoms like you describe. If you're seeing P0170 and P0173, you'd better check the fuel trim ASAP.

It's not good for the car to run lean or rich. Fix the problem...
