Wiring Harness DIY

I have a 94 C280.

I viewed the DIY. I'm very proficient at DIY, but the pics -- and my car engine -- make it appear that routing the wires all over the place (between and under parts) would be very difficult.

Who has done this and can shed some light?

TIA

I think the general procedure is, start at the ECU and just follow the wires (connect the dots) to the connectors, replacing the old with the new as you go.
