Rough Idle/Missing 420 SEL Repaired Thanks

The rough idle and missing problem is now solved thanks to all your help! It was a cracked distributer and bad plugs. Thanks to SteveBFL, 420 SE and Gary Ganaway.

My 86 420SEL is resting comfortably at the dealer service dept...my intermittent stumble/stall off idle when the engine was warm turned out to be a bad fuel pump relay and the 3-week old OVP was defective as well, at least that part was warranteed. Thank God I get an employee labor rate, or I could never let them work on my cars.

I always try to report back on stuff that's odd. At times you simply forget.
