124 ccu removal

Help! After I remove the 2 screws holding on the wood overlay on the CCU for a 1993 300ce, and remove the wood - how do I get the CCU out so I can take out the temp control wheel and spray contact cleaner on it and check out the solder joints?

Don't want to yank it out, it moves and do not want to break any clips that might be holding it in place.
