Hey all,
I want to install the European climate control for the w124 that has dual temperature control for passenger and driver (Europe gets to keep all the cool stuff ![]() I'm told it's a simpler system then the auto one our cars come with, using Bowden cables instead of vacuum lines and electronics, which honestly... I'm totally down for, if Bowden cables control vents instead of these annoying vacuum pods that dry rot and fail, I'm totally down to switch everything.

This guy wants to do that same thing:
Climate control conversion to euro version anyone 300te - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum However, he has a donor car with the complete manual system, and "all" he has to do is transplant it. You have to order all those parts, presumably using the EPC but without the euro Climate Control service manual. That is going to be difficult, but post pics as you work through the project! |
