Rear seat removal
Before I tear into something I haven't done before, can someone tell me how to remove the rear seat of my '77 300D? I need to replace the rear shocks and my chiltons says to "remove rear seat and arm rest". Is this easy? Thanks for any help

rear seat back
I just searched the archives and found that I'll need to find 3 bolts at the bottom of the seat back. I search for them tonight.

You probably need to pull the seat bottom first. I have my 76 300d W115 totally gutted at this time. The bolts to the back and lap belts are back there.

Can't the back be removed w/o taking out the bench? Just wondering.

It requires only hands and fingers to remove the bench. You can't get to the bolts with the bench in place.
