I need to boost a 1995 W202 A/C compressor's safety cut-out signal from 0.175vAC to 0.325vAC in order to integrate with a 1988 W124.
Anyone know where to get a circuit/black-box to do this, or can design me a simple circuit that I can build, preferably with adjustable AC output? For some reason, a 1995 C36 W202 A/C compressor has a different mounting bracket than W124's with M104 engine (93-95). We've tried a 1995 W124 compressor, but it won't fit the C36 engine. Thanks in advance, :-) neil 1988 300TE w/AMG'd M104 |
I would just wire in a Bosch relay to control the compressor and forget the speed sensor. If you do this, the only thing that is lost is compressor cut-out if the compressor slips. IE the speed signal is lost.
(We have done this for years with the D's that have slippery clutches at idle.) |
