Getting harder to start - '91 W124 300E

My car is getting a bit harder to start in the morning. I haven't been driving it much lately, but my wife informed me. It used to start easily within 3 seconds of cranking, and as it cranked, it built up speed until it caught and started and ran fine. Now its taking from 3 - 5 seconds to start, and it acts like its going to catch, then doesn't, then catches again and runs...

I'm thinking...Ignition? I replaced the plugs last year, but never replaced the rotor, cap, or wires. As far as I know, they are originals.

Anything else? Fuel filter maybe? Once its started, it seems to drive and run fine, like it always has.

This hasn't become a problem yet, but it is a change in the performance of the motor that I want to monitor and address before it gets any worse.
