PO 304- cylinder #4 misfire
 Driving along today and The car starts to shake-badly. I though I had a flat?!!
CEL light came on and I limped the car home and did a code check. PO304- cylinder # 4 Misfire. Anyone know which one #4 is? It's a '97 S 500 (M119). Thanks! Paul |
Last cylinder ( closest to the firewall ) on the passenger side. ;)

Thanks Manny!
Checked that plug, plus all the others for good measure, along with the coil wires. All look good. Plugs have less than 10,000 miles on them. I guess I was hoping for that small piece of debris that can bridge the gap on a plug and short it out. I guess it's off the dealer to have the injector pulled. Other than a major mechanical malfunction, which I'm sure I'd hear, I'll have to assume it's a clogged injector. Any other Ideas? Paul |
Try switching the coil from that cylinder to one that DOESN'T have a miss.
