PO 304- cylinder #4 misfire
Driving along today and The car starts to shake-badly. I though I had a flat?!!
CEL light came on and I limped the car home and did a code check. PO304- cylinder # 4 Misfire. Anyone know which one #4 is? It's a '97 S 500 (M119). Thanks! Paul

Thanks Manny!
Checked that plug, plus all the others for good measure, along with the coil wires. All look good. Plugs have less than 10,000 miles on them. I guess I was hoping for that small piece of debris that can bridge the gap on a plug and short it out. I guess it's off the dealer to have the injector pulled. Other than a major mechanical malfunction, which I'm sure I'd hear, I'll have to assume it's a clogged injector. Any other Ideas? Paul

Try switching the coil from that cylinder to one that DOESN'T have a miss.
