overheating 300SEL

What would cause overheating immediately after conversion to R134? No problems before. ??????

what do you concider overheating? how much freon was put in? do the auxillary fans come on?

going from a non functioning ac to a functioning one will increase the temp of the air crossing your rad when the ac is functioning. so if your cooling system has any weaknesses they will be revealed with the more stressed situation.

so a rise in op temp is to be expected unless all systems are perfect.
