Intense gas smell in a 560SEL.

So I've been searching the board for all the information related to "rough idle" for my car, because it does idle rough. Today, after filling up, though, the smell of gas inside the car is pretty intense (even with the windows and sunroof open). Wondering if anyone has an opinion as to what I should check first to solve this problem, since it is now the most important. Could this also be related to a fuel line? Incidentally, the smell seems to be coming from the front of the ar, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for any and all suggestions,
Craig

Check the EHA... Mine leaked and it smelled of Gas.

Under air cleaner housing, on the intake, around 2 o' clock (standing infront of car).

Good luck.

PS: sometimes all you need is new o-rings, and not a whole new actuator.

Intense gas smell solved...

The smell was being caused by a loost fitting injector nozzle on the fuel distributor. Incidentally, it didn't look or feel loose, it just looked like it wasn't tightened as far down as the others. No gas was outside of it either, just produced that smell.

One mystery solved, 2,465 to go.
