2000 S500 Spark Plug Recommendation
I was wondering what the pros/cons of using the various Bosch spark plugs are:
BTW: This m113 has 70,000 miles on it. I checked Fastlane F 8 DPP332 - $10.18/ea I checked Bosch's website: F 8 DPP332 +2: 4301 +4: 4418 So I checked the local Autozone and they have the +2 and +4s but not the regular F8DPP332, futhermore, the +2's are 3.99/ea Is there something wrong with using the platinum +2's? Techs? If the F8's are the best for the ignition system - I'll wait and order them from Phil, but if theres no difference than with the +2's I'll get them from Autozone and replace them this week. Thanks for the advice!

Use the spark plugs listed in your Owner's Manual.

use the same as what's in the car. i have fixed many a tune-up by removing bosch platinums and installing the CORRECT plugs. the platinums foul too easily, usually within 5k or so. good luck, chuck.

There are NO Mercedes parts available at Autozone/Pep Boys, etc.
Get used to it.
