'87 300td

I am want to replace the auxilary fan resistor on my '87 TD and cannot find where it is located. Help!!

Depending on what you want to do there are 2 sensors that determine what speed the fan is running at. one is located on the top of the engine at the water neck (hi speed) and the other is located near the thermostat (low speed). As far as replacing the resistor Im not sure where the speed control resistor would be.

Why do you need to replace the resister? I think you should check the 30amp strip fuse first, on the left hand side fender, near the cabin.
