95c280 egr crossover switching valves

I changed my wiring harness and the switch over valve for the egr and secondary air pump I have fault code p0412 and valve a .secondary injection. My question is I know valve A or selinoid A is now going to the secondary air pump and B is connected to the EGR is this correct and do the connectors have any way of telling what goes where.I have the L angled shape one connected to B and The straight one to A am I correct. The light for the check engine only comes on when the engine starts in the morning right away.
