flex disc question
I did an inspection on my 1997 C280(76,000 miles) before I bought it and was told that I would need to change the flex disc eventually. I take such things serious and would like to change it sooner than later. can somebody point me to a link or some info on how to change it myself or the cost of having a benz mechanic fix it?
any info is apprciated. ![]() |

It may be worth your time to just have a shop that knows MBZ to do the job. Rather than having to find all the tools required to replace the flex disc, like finding a 46mm wrench or a 42mm wrench. It should not be more than a two hour job, and you should be able to supply your own part. Of course, I wouldn't bring my own steak to a restaurant.
